Jacqui Methven, SORT Paramedic (Special Operations Response Team), Scottish Ambulance Service, assisted by Lance Corporal Mark McVey (24) from Bishopbriggs, 5 years in the Territorial Army help a casualty in the Linwood area as temperatures in the region plummet to -14 degrees. Troops from The Royal Regiment of Scotland and 32 Signal Regiment (Volunteers) using Army Landrovers are assisting the Scottish Ambulance Service to transport NHS Paramedics to callouts in Edinburgh and Glasgow during the continued severe weather conditions in the central belt of Scotland.
