English: U.S. Air Force Sgt. Ken Mahaley, a crew chief with the 17th Avionics Squadron, launches a U.S. Air Force F-16C Fighting Falcon from the 363rd Tactical Fighter Wing, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., during the first wave of the air attack on Iraq in support of Operation Desert Storm. The F-16 is armed with Mark 84 2,000-pound bombs mounted under its wings. |
