Description
English: A water pipe crosses the river. This had nothing to do with the construction of the railway, but the so-called Waale were used to irrigate higher-lying cultivated areas. By the way, corn grows here in the valley floor on summer days, just as it does now
Deutsch: Eine Wasserleitung überquert de Fluss. Mit dem Bau der Bahn hatte diese nichts zu tun, sondern die so genannten Waale dienten der Bewässerung höher gelegener Anbauflächen. Sommertags wächst übrigens auch hier damals wie heute im Talgrund der Kukuruz.
