Description
English: The Adjutant General of Arkansas, Jonathan Stubbs, and Command Sergeant Major Paul Winkle, Arkansas State Sergeant Major, tour Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine (JMTG-U) October 16, 2023. During their tour, they met with leadership and Soldiers from JMTG-U to discuss and observe the training that is provided at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany. The 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team was deployed in early April in support of JMTG-U as a planning and support role to the training of Ukrainian forces. The publicly announced, U.S. led training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels training areas in Germany is overseen by U.S. European Command, U.S. Army Europe and Africa, and the Security Assistance Group-Ukraine; and executed by 7th Army Training Command, JMTG-U and other supporting units.
