Description
English: Bark ‚Arethusa‘, built by A. McMillan & Son, Dumbarton, 1891 was an British ship with 1,279 tons. 1917 was the ship torpeded from UC 66 ca.15 miles NW of Eagle Island. A trip to Cape Horn with this ship is described in the novel by Rex Clements A GIPSY OF THE HORN[1].
