Arduino-based wow-and-flutter meter - schematic

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Arduino-based wow-and-flutter meter - schematic. The outputs - 3.1 kHz oscillator and PWM to an external analog meter, and the battery monitor resistors R9-R10 - are optional. Uses a standard LCD display based on Hitachi HD44780 via the stock LiquidCrystal library (slow but it works). The choice of Arduino I/O pins is completely arbitrary, whatever fits your layout, except for the critical timer pins 6, 8 and 11 (associated wiring marked in red for input and green for output). Power can be either 2x lithium cells (7..8.5V) or 9-volt alkaline, although the LM358 stage remains so-so operational even at +5V supply.
Note that there are many fake Chinese LM358s on the market, and these are even slower than the original and won't produce the required pulse edges. I only tested it with second-source but good quality LM358s.
