| Description |
English: Arduaine Gardens The pond in the heart of Arduaine Gardens is not ruffled by the fresh breeze blowing outside the shelter of the trees. Arum Lilies grow in the foreground, and a rhododendron is reflected in the still water. The gardens are at their best in late April and May, when the rhododendrons and azaleas are in full bloom. Unfortunately this oasis of calm, owned by the National Trust for Scotland, is threatened in spring 2009 with closure. |
