Women at Work; Date: 4/26/39; Location: 110 King St., N.Y.C.; Negative No.: 3869-16; Photographer: Sol Horn. Identification on accompanying label (typewritten): Like Miss Shaw, Margaret Marshall is an expert in painting sculpture. The plaster group of athletes "Cunningham in the Lead" by Chaim Gross, will resemble bronze so closely after Miss Marshall has completed the finishing technique that even a sculptor would be able to tell the difference only by touch and the weight of the group. |
