Description
Deutsch: 360°-Panorama eines großen Archivraums des Stasi-Unterlagen-Archivs/BStU. Die Archivalien stammen vom Ministerium für Staatssicherheit (MfS) der DDR. Das Archivgebäude befindet sich im Areal des MfS in Berlin Lichtenberg (Normannenstraße). Der Raum wird „Kupferkessel“ genannt, weil MfS-Chef Erich Mielke hier kurz vor der Wende ein neues Rechenzentrum einrichten wollte und auf eine abhörsichere Abschirmung aus zwei Kupferschichten baute. Unten im Bild stehen zwei Säcke, einer mit von MfS-Mitarbeitern in den Tagen des Aufstands 1989 eilig zerrissenen Zetteln, einer mit maschinell zerschnittenen Mikrofiches (Bilddatenträgern).
