Description
Nederlands: Aan de Lisserdijk staan zes gekoppelde arbeidershuisjes. Deze zijn gebouwd als dienstwoningen bij het poldergemaal De Leeghwater en stonden daarom bekend als Leeghwaterhuisjes. De dijkhuisjes werden rond 1890 gebouwd, maar op oude afbeeldingen is te zien dat er al vanaf 1853 woningen stonden voor het personeel, zoals machinisten en stokers. Elke woning was voorzien van een eigen moestuin aan de straatkant.
