Deutsch: Von Conrad Wilhelm Hase 1880 bis 1884 gebaute Kirche in Hannovers Oststadt, ein neugotischer Ziegelbau im Stil einer Basilika mit einem hohen Mittelschiff und Emporen. Diese Kirche wird als Hases reinster neugotischer Bau angesehen (Informationsblatt in der Kirche). Die Kirche blieb nicht von Zerstörungen durch die Bombardierung im 2. Weltkrieg verschont, durch drei Brandbomben wurden das Dach und die Kapelle beschädigt. Vor weiteren Brandschäden konnten die Feuer gelöscht werden. Die Ausstattung der Kirche - Altar, Kanzel mit Schalldeckel und Lesepult - ist Hases Entwurf. Chorgestühl und Bankreihen stammen noch aus der Bauzeit. |
