The image displayed does not meet the "tangent to three previous circles" rule for Apollonian gaskets. On the other hand, it does nicely fill interstices with clusters of circles (this would be more obvious if the 'levels' were colored or numbered). As such, Jacquenot's code is a good circle-packer, but may not meet the strict definition of the Apollonian sequence.
