Dansk: Det klassicistiske Apistempel nordvest for slottet blev opført af N.A. Abildgaard i forbindelse med parkens omlægning. I guldalderens landskabsbilleder skildres ofte tidens sværmeri for oprindelighed. Og oprindelig var både bonden på marken og fortidsminder fra nordisk, men også græsk mytologi. Derfor skulle der naturligvis også være et tempel i græsk stil i den romantiske have Frederiksberg. Bygningen blev opført i 1802-04 og fik navnet Apistempel efter tyren i frontonen. Tempelfrontens søjlehal består af ti søjler, hvoraf de otte menes at stamme fra Christian VII's Palæ, det tidligere Moltkes Palæ. De to sidste søjler er kopier. Templet består indvendigt af et tøndehvælvet rum med to vinduer, der oprindeligt havde farvede glas. Rummet var møbleret med sofa, stole og konsolborde, som de kongelige kunne bruge til tedrikning. Fra 1874-1970 blev templet brugt som indgang til Zoologisk have (grundlagt i 1859) og indretningen ændret. Templet er lejlighedsvist åbent.
