Description

Foto No 732

Ingeniero y Político nacido en Buga, Valle en 1851. Gracias a sus conocimientos empezó como catedrático en la Universidad y luego pasó a ser Rector del Colegio Santa Librada de Cali de 1879 a 1881. Tiempo después fue nombrado Secretario de Gobierno de Popayán y luego fue gobernador del departamento del Cauca en el año 1886. El camino de la política lo llevaría a que nueve años después fuera gobernador de Tolima y después a que fuera nombrado representante a la Cámara y Presidente de esta misma en 1892. Finalmente muere en Topaipí, Cundinamarca en 1921.
