Description

Após mais de 20 anos de portas fechadas, a Igreja do Santíssimo Sacramento da Rua do Passo, ou Igreja do Passo, em Salvador (BA), foi reaberta ao público na noite desta segunda-feira (5). A igreja, que foi cenário de um dos mais importantes filmes nacionais, O Pagador de Promessas, passou por um processo de estabilização de sua estrutura e de recuperação completa das imagens sacras. As obras duraram três anos e receberam investimento de mais de R$ 11 milhões do governo federal, por meio do Programa Avançar.
