Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The museum site, describing the year 1905, writes: "G. van Bergen contractors employed a dozen men to hoist Thomas Vinçotte’s pair of chariots to the roof. With a team of two horses and a charioteer apiece, they were intended to symbolize the triumph of art and have been the emblem of the museum ever since they were installed." A video in the museum showed the horses during restoration, and how one had to climb into them.
