| Description |
English: Antony Gormley's "Sound 2" This Antony Gormley bronze sculpture is in the crypt at Winchester cathedral. It was installed in 1986, one of Gormley's earliest works. Like many of his sculptures the mould for this work was made from his own tall, thin body. The crypt is only half underground so there is natural daylight entering the crypt from the north (left). However, it also frequently floods, to the depth of the sculpture's knees. |
