Summary

[edit]
Description

An Antonov-124 cargo plane - chartered by the UK government - arrives in the Philippines carrying vital cargo that will double the amount of aid that can flow through the country's Cebu airport.

Cebu is now at the heart of the global humanitarian response to the Philippines crisis, handling over 800 tons of cargo per day.

The cargo on board the Antonov, funded by the UK, includes vital aircraft unloading kit, as well as a forklift, tow tractor, Toyota Hi-Lux, pallets, oil and tools.
