Title
Italiano: Antonio Brignole Sale (Genova, 22 maggio 1786 – 14 ottobre 1863), marchese di Groppoli, fu un diplomatico del Regno di Sardegna. Ambasciatore a Madrid, Pietroburgo e Parigi, preferì abbandonate la brillante carriera piuttosto che dover accettare la politica anticlericale. Con la consorte Artemisia Negroni condivideva una solida fede cristiana. A Genova fondarono un collegio a loro dedicato volto alla formazione dei futuri missionari, affidandolo ai Vinenziani.
