Na začátku nacistické okupace patřil k hlavním organizátorům domácího nekomunistického odboje: spolupracoval zejména s ilegálním Politickým ústředím (PÚ) a vojenskou Obranou národa (ON). At the beginning of the Nazi occupation he was one of the main organizers of the domestic anti-german resistance. Pešl cooperated with the illegal Political Headquarters (PÚ) and with the military defense of the Nation (ON). Besides Vaclav König was Pešl described as a close associate (from journalistic circles) of Lieutenant Colonel Josef Balában. Josef Balabán was one of the Three Kings (Balabán, Mašín. Morávek). In 1940 was Antonin Pešl involved as a founder and leading member of the resistance organization ÚVOD. For his actions against Nazi Germany Pešl paid the highest price. (He was executed). |
