Description |
English: Incomplete copper alloy ansate brooch. The brooch is symmetrical and is arched in profile with zoomorphic terminals. The animal heads are very worn and all that can be seen are two incised crescents representing the ears or eyes. There is an incised line of squares running along the centre of the back of the brooch. Lug for hinged pin and catchplate on the reverse. The pin is missing. |
