Summary

[edit]
Description I could not find out any information about this Franco-Belge 2-6-2 Prairie engine. Here she is, plinthed outside the tightly shuttered Phnom Penh trains station. Why why is station is such a high security area is anybody's guess. The twisted Khmer Rouge lunatics destroyed much of Cambodia's 330 km rail network deeming it as 'unnecessary'. An Australian firm, Toll Railways, made a small start in rebuilding the country's railways, but progress has been painfully slow due to heavy delays, cost over runs and other typically 3rd world problems.
