Description
English: Paid circulation figures for If from 1960 to 1974. Source data comes from the circulation statements each year, as follows:

Note the 1974 data was printed in the February 1975 issue of Galaxy, as If had merged with Galaxy.

Note also that the data does not necessarily come from a calendar year. The statements in the February 1973 and February 1974 issues, for example, were sworn on the 15 of September of the previous year. The circulation figures could take two or three months to come in, since it was necessary to wait for returns from news stands to know what the paid circulation was. Hence the information for the year marked 1972, above, may actually be for a twelve-month period from about July 1971 to June 1972.

A noter que la valeur de 1974 a été imprimée dans le magazine Galaxy en février 1975 comme celui-ci avait fusionné avec Galaxy.

A noter aussi que les données ne proviennent pas forcéement d'une année complète. Les valeurs dans les magazines de février 1973 et février 1974, par exemple, ont été arrêtées le 15 septembre de l'année précédente.Le schéma de circulation pouvait mettre deux à trois mois à arriver puisqu'il était nécessaire d'attendre le retour des stands pour connaitre la circulation payante. C'est pourquoi la valeur indiquée pour l'année 1972, est en réalité établie sur une période de 12 mois entre environ juillet 1971 et juin 1972.
