Description

A wonderful performance at a new Greenwich Village music venue, featuring a certain awesome singer-songwriter I have seen many times before back in California.

Anna Nalick and I grew up in the same part of San Gabriel Valley, and still live in Southern California. And I thought it would be one very special experience to catch up with her - thousands of miles away, in New York City, my "other hometown" - and put together the best of both places for a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable memory. This was also the first time in nearly 20 years that I got to enjoy a live music show in New York City.

Aside from the location, this was an excellent show in its own right, stretching nearly two hours and offering a great mix of both old and new songs.

This New York City stop is part of Anna's East Coast and Midwest tour that is taking place throughout March 2014. The tour is rather intimate in character; pianist Will Gramling, working with Anna since 2011, is the only other member of the entourage.
