English: Anita Garibaldi fought alongside her husband Giuseppe Garibaldi in the Guerra dos Farrapos and helped establish the ephemeral Republic of Juliana based in Laguna. Later, she accompanied Giuseppe Garibaldi to Italy, where she died.
