Bahasa Indonesia: Pada 02 Mei 2016, selain memperingati Hari Pendidikan Nasional, juga sebagai momen untuk merayakan keanekaragaman dan merayakan persatuan. Maka dalam upacara peringatan Hari Pendidikan Nasional kali ini terlihat unik. Peserta upacara, baik Pejabat Kemendikbud, Pegawai Kemendikbud, undangan, serta para guru dan siswa diwajibkan mengenakan pakaian adat atau tradisional. Hal ini untuk menunjukkan kebhinekaan dalam Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Dalam amanatnya, Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, Anies Baswedan mengatakan bahwa pada Hari Pendidikan Nasional kita rayakan sebagai hari kesadaran tentang pentingnya kualitas manusia. Mutu dan jenjang pendidikan berdampak besar pada ruang kesempatan untuk maju dan sejahtera. Maka memastikan setiap manusia Indonesia mendapatkan akses pendidikan yang bermutu sepanjang hidupnya, sama dengan memastikan kejayaan dan keberlangsungan bangsa.
English: On May 02, 2016, apart from commemorating National Education Day, it is also a moment to celebrate diversity and celebrate unity. So the ceremony to commemorate National Education Day this time looks unique. Ceremony participants, both Ministry of Education and Culture Officials, Ministry of Education and Culture employees, invitees, as well as teachers and students are required to wear traditional or traditional clothing. This is to show the diversity within the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. In his mandate, Minister of Education and Culture, Anies Baswedan said that on National Education Day we celebrate it as a day of awareness about the importance of human quality. The quality and level of education have a big impact on the opportunity space for advancement and prosperity. So ensuring that every Indonesian person gets access to quality education throughout his life, is the same as ensuring the glory and sustainability of the nation.
