Summary
[edit]DescriptionAndlau Commanderie 3.JPG |
Alsace, Bas-Rhin, Andlau, Commanderie des Chevaliers Teutoniques (1741-1787). This house was built originally for the 'Knights of St. John' (Templars) In 1920 it was owned by General Emil Adolphe and Julia Catlin Park DePew Taufflieb. They transformed the house which had its own chapel into a 'modern' dwelling. Joffre came there to visit the Tauffliebs quite often.
