Description
Español: Circa el año 1800. Un elemento que acompaña a toda embarcación es el ancla. Las anclas fueron cambiando con el tiempo y acompañaron la evolución de la construcción naval, estableciéndose un número y tamaño de anclas que debía llevar un barco. Hacia el siglo XV y XVI una nave de unas 1.000 toneladas llevaba cerca de 12 anclas; en el siglo XVIII, un barco de línea de 100 cañones disponía de 7 anclas, la más pesada rondaba las 4 toneladas y la más chica cerca de los 225 kg.
