Description
English: Green-winged orchid or Green-veined orchid
Srpski (latinica): Višegodišnja, kontinentalno-mediteranska zeljasta biljka, visine 8-40 cm. Cveta od aprila do jula, cvetovi su purpurno-ljubičasti. Raste na suvim, osunčanim livadama, po šikarama i u svetlim šumama. U Srbiji je relativno česta, ali je na teritoriji Vojvodine pred nestajanjem – ovde su glavna nalazišta registrovana na Fruškoj gori i Deliblatskoj peščari. Lekovita je biljka. Ugrožena je posredno, zbog narušavanja staništa ali je i neposredno ugrožavaju izletnici. U Srbiji je zaštićena u okviru cele familije (pod sinonimom Orchis) – Pravilnikom o proglašenju i zaštiti strogo zaštićenih i zaštićenih divljih vrsta biljaka, životinja i gljiva - Prilog II - zaštićene vrste (Službeni glasnik Republike Srbije, br. 05/10) i nalazi se u Crvenoj knjizi flore Srbije (I tom - preliminarna lista najugroženijih biljaka).
