Summary
[edit]DescriptionAn old farmhouse in the village of Ljuljaci, Serbia (2).jpg |
English: An old farmhouse (late 19th - early 20th century) in the village of Ljuljaci, the municipality of Knić, Serbia. The house is located near the former center of the village, by the main road Kragujevac - Gornji Milanovac. Having three parts, the house has a symmetrical base and rectangular shape. It consists of basement rooms built with broken stone and the floor intended for the living. The floor structure of the central part is bonded, with a brick filling, while the side wings of the building are upgraded from roughly stone, with openings arched by the brickwork. The roof structure is partially preserved only on the west wing of the building. The carpentry is partially authentic. The house in Ljuljaci is a good example of traditional folk architecture, with a facade that clearly shows the applied construction techniques, constructive elements and materials. |
