Description

PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 12, 2012) Lt. Jeffrey Herzog takes cover from the jet blast of an F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the Black Nights of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 154 as it launches from the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) during the disembarkation of Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 11. Nimitz is currently in transit to Naval Air Station North Island after successfully completing the ship's Joint Task Force Exercise.
