English: An incomplete, post Medieval silver half groat of Elizabeth I. Dated to 1582-1583, mm Bell. Fifth issue. Obverse: Crowned bust left with two pellets behind. Obverse inscription: E.D.G. RO[S]A .SINE. SPINA. Reverse: Long cross fourcheé over Royal shield dividing legend. Reverse inscription: CIVI[T]AS LOND[O]N. The flan is slightly abraded and has been clipped.
