Description
English: A Post Medieval copper alloy button depicting Charles I (AD1625-1649). The button is discoidal and flat with an integral semi-circular perforated shank for attachment. The front surface is decorated with a moulded relief bust of Charles I facing left and an inscription “ ROYAL MARTYR”. There is a beaded border around the outer edge of the button. Dimensions: diameter: 12.19mm; thickness: 4.62mm; weight: 0.86g
