Summary

[edit]
Description

A interesting variant of the endemic Bulbuls. This is a another exclusive of the subcontinent and very interestingly only found in 4-5 places in the country throughout. It is not a migrant and not visible anywhere else. Its behavior is just like that of a common bulbul though preferring berries and insects. The preference for berries puts it in direct competition with 100s of Rhesus and Bonnet Macaque's which were trying to catch the birds for food. This bird escaped immediately after a shot after a Macaque tried to grab it.
