Title
An Old Story With a New Application
Description
The Hughes buzz saw cuts off Bryan's finger, connected to the hand labeled 'Bryan Arguments'. Hughes had just made a stop in Saint Paul in October to stump for Taft and to attack the policies of Bryan, according to the October 6th edition of the Minneapolis Tribune. He apparently was well-received by the local crowd, and was adamant in his arguments that Bryanism and that his insistence on a government guarantee of bank deposits was unsound in principle.
