An Indian physician in a carriage being driven at high speed by an English army officer, India (?). Coloured lithograph by E. Walker after Captain G.F. Atkinson.

"Our Doctor," print 13 from 'Curry and Rice on Forty Plates or The Ingredients of Social Life at Our Station in India by Captn Geo F Atkinson'. A series of coloured prints, depicting British colonial life in a small North Indian "station," drawn by George Franklin Atkinson (1822-1859), and published in 1858 (with later reprints).
