Amy Christensen Erickson (1896-1973) was born in Seattle to Charles Christensen (1857-1912) and Augusta (Andersen) Christensen (1855-1927). Amy graduated from Acme Business College in 1912. She married Hans Erickson (1886-1935) in 1914, and had two children, Stanley Erickson (1916-), and Mary Ann Ericksen (1928-). Hans joined the Seattle Fire Department in 1913, and was the pilot for the fireboat Duwamish at the time of his death. This portrait of Amy was taken in Seattle when she was about 14 years old.

Handwritten on verso: Amy Kristensen Erikson 1896-1973. Photo take ca. 1912. Lived on Queen Anne Hill & Vashon Island. She married Capt. Hans Erikson (died late 1920s) Seattle fireboat pioneer - pilot. Hans - SFD fireman ca. 1914-1935 Amy - wife ca. 1916-1935 Widow 1936-7 Home - 1523 Queen Anne Avenue. Later - 210 W.
