Description
English: In June, an AmeriCorps NCCC crew in Wrangell was accomplishing great things for the community. This amazing group of young people have:

- Painted the High school/ Middle school shop - Painted the community gym - Helped to reconstruct garden beds at the EATs community garden at the Evergreen Elementary School - Conducted trail maintenance on City Trails - Conducted grounds maintenance at the Wrangell Cooperative Association sites and the Nolan Center - Replaced aging boardwalk and installed non-skid material on Rainbow Falls Trail

Two NCCC crew members received their A-sawyer certifications, and all members learned about various tools and equipment available in the school technology and shop rooms.

Thank you to all of the partners, and especially to Kate Thomas, Fred Angerman, Drew Larabee, Jenn Miller, Kim Wickman and Esther Ashton for your work putting these projects together!
