English: The Kamakshi Devi temple is a south Indian style historic temple in Ambaji, north Gujarat near the Rajasthan border. It is linked to the Kanchipuram Devasthanam in Tamil Nadu. It is one of many examples of crossflow of Hindu art and architecture found between south India with western and northern states of India. The Kamakshi temple of Ambaji is one of fifty two Shakta-tradition tirtha sites. It includes a Dravidian gopura as well as Dravidian architecture temple.
