Summary
[edit]DescriptionAm Bàthaich - geograph.org.uk - 1721333.jpg |
English: Am Bàthaich Looking along Glen Quoich from Am Bàthaich. Like all major glens in the West Highlands, Glen Quoich runs from west to east. This is a relic of the preglacial drainage pattern. The ice changed things around a bit though. The southern wall of this classic U shaped glen was breached, and the River Quoich, now with two branches, runs into Glen Garry. Paths leave both halves of the glen allowing good cross country trips.
