| Description |
English: Allt Mhungain falls to the sea. Anywhere more accessible (and perhaps slightly warmer and less prone to midges in the summer) this would surely be a popular canyonning descent. The stream cuts down through the cliffs of Aoineadh Mhéinis in a series of pitches, totalling about 130m, and all in the sun until late afternoon, with a splendid view across the Firth of Lorn too ! However, both the walk-in and escape by boat or along the shore would be difficult. Perhaps easiest would be to approach by sea kayak to the 1750407 and hack up one of the other, less steep streams that drain the southeast slopes of Druim Fada. |
