English: A Soldier with the 386th Movement Control Team, 39th Transportation Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, guides an M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank from the transportation vessel “Liberty Promise” March 9 at the Riga Universal Terminal docks. Port officials, stevedores, and allied leaders and Soldiers downloaded a variety of weapons systems, including the tanks, M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, unit gear and other cargo in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. The ongoing mission exemplifies U.S. and NATO commitment to the region, builds allied capability and interoperability, and bolsters regional security and stability. Soldiers of the 1st Armor Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, will employ the vehicles during a training rotation in eastern and central Europe. (Photo by 1st Lt.
