English: Alley / Service Road This south-westerly facing photograph shows the junction of 800999 with an alley / service road that runs behind houses on Londesborough Road (on the left).
The alley leads to the 'Avenue Cottages' before turning sharply left to join Londesborough Road. The houses on the right are on the southern side of Avenue Road. Behind the viewpoint is the southern entrance to another alleyway which, in the 1950's and 1960's, was known locally as 800988. Road name information from OS Maps at:- Elgin, http://www.elgin.gov.uk/ |
