[edit]DescriptionAll Saints Church - stained glass window - geograph.org.uk - 1070178.jpg |
English: All Saints Church - stained glass window. All Saints church > 1070159 stands on a hill on the site of an earlier building which is mentioned in the Doomsday book. The chancel dates from the 13th century; the tower, which contains three bells, was added a century later. Its clock is 300 years old and was installed by the Rev. William Vincent in 1872. The church interior > 1070169 - 1070170 - 1070183 is much restored and contains a number of C19 and early C20 stained glass windows > 1070177 - 1070180. The church is also used for Benefice events such as holiday clubs for the children. The door is kept locked but a key is available from one of the two keyholders.
