Description
English: Offered for sale by Abbott and Holder in January 2020 when it was described as "TIPPING Major Alfred (fl.1850s) 3rd Battalion Grenadier Guards Crimean War: ‘The Monument at Cape Scutari put up by the Guards Brigade to celebrate Queen Victoria’s birthday 25th May 1854’. Pencil, watercolour and gouache on blue/grey paper. Later inscribed verso. 5.5x7.5 inches."
