Description
English: Alexander von Blomberg (1778 – 1813), of the noble Blomberg lineage, was declared the first victim of the Wars of Liberation. In 1913, a monument, designed by Otto Kuhlmann to replace a previous one, was erected near the place where he was mortally wounded on 20 February 1813.
