Polski: Aleksandra Waliszewska, malarka Apokalipsy, w swojej sztuce sięga do niewspółczesnych źródeł. W ostatnich latach artystka stale powraca do tematu opresji, tortur, seksualnego podporządkowania i zezwierzęcenia (w znaczeniu gatunkowych hybryd, jak i krwiożerczych zachowań). Ofiarami (rzadziej oprawczyniami) są kobiety, skazane na pastwę człekokształtnych bestii i sadystycznych mężczyzn. Monumentalne dzieło Waliszewskiej jest współczesnym moralitetem rozpisanym na kilka tysięcy rozdziałów, „przestrzegającym przed złem, zanim nadejdzie czas radości i słodyczy” (jak ironizowała sama artystka w rozmowie z Maurizio Cattelanem).
