Summary
[edit]DescriptionAlbuquerque cable car (45872520494).jpg |
The Sandia Peak Tramway has been operating more than 50 years and takes you from the suburbs of Albuquerque on a 2.7 mile trip to the observation deck on 10,378 Sandia Peak. From there there are panoramic views in several directions. The tramway is the longest of it's kind in the United States and has the third longest individual span in the world at 1.46 miles (2,3 Km) and at one point you are 900 ft (274 m) above the ground. I can confirm that seems a long way down! |
