English: Album Page with Découpé Calligraphy, signed by ‘Ali (calligrapher) and Muhammad Hasan (cut-paper artist). The text quotes a phrase, attributed to 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, as he freed his slave Qanbar, which became a well-known Shi'a phrase. 46.1 × 34.7 × 2.2 cm (frame) Gouache on black paper with colored and white decoupage. Probably Bijapur, 1630-1640. Former Howard Hodgkin collection. Metropolitan Museum of Art 2022.203
