Description
Italiano: Busto ritratto del vescovo Alberto Mugiasca collocato in una nicchia circolare ricavata in posizione elevata nel braccio destro dell'ambulacro della cattedrale di Alessandria. Il busto proviene dall'antica cattedrale demolita per decreto napoleonico del 1803 ed era collocato sul muro di prospetto della sagrestia con quelli stilisticamente affini di monsignor Carlo Ciceri e monsignor Deodato Scaglia ( anch'essi esposti nell'ambulacro). Le notizie sono desunte dalle Visite di G. M. Arboreo Gattinara ( 1730; non si fa esplicita menzione dei busti ma sono trascritte le iscrizioni che li accompagnavano) e di G. T. De Rossi (1760).
